18 New COVID-19 Cases In Rajasthan, Tally Rises To 579

Mumbai: The state health department said that 18 more cases of coronovirus were reported in Rajasthan on Saturday, which increased to 579 in the state.

Out of the total 18 cases, 14 people are from Kota while the rest are residents of Bikaner.

In particular, new cases were reported from the most affected oilfields and Chandraghat areas in Kota. Four new cases in Bikaner are family members of an elderly woman who died of the virus a few days ago.

With 40 deaths and 1,035 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, India saw the fastest increase in coronovirus cases on Saturday, reaching 7,447 infected people in the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
