24-Year-Old Woman Raped, Stabbed By 2 Men In Gurugram; 1 Arrested
Mumbai: A 24-year-old woman was allegedly raped and stabbed by two men in Gurugram’s DLF Phase-3 area, police said on Tuesday.
Police said that the incident took place on Monday night in Nathupur of DLF Phase 3. He told that the condition of the victim admitted to Delhi’s Safdarjung Hospital is critical.
The victim’s husband, the autorickshaw driver, has lodged a complaint with the DLF Phase 3 police station.
“On Monday, I got a desperate call from my wife. She told me she had been stabbed. I asked her about the location but she could not tell me a specific area. Then she asked me to reach home. When I reached home, she told me she was raped by two and one of them stabbed her,” said the complaint.
The victim is not fit to give a statement, the police said, adding that an FIR has been registered against the two men under IPC sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 324 (grave hurt) based on her husband’s complaint. and was recorded. 34 (general intent) on Tuesday.
Police said they have arrested one of the accused, Anil Thakur, a native of Bihar and an investigation is on.
