Haryana Businessman,38, Shot Dead With 35 Bullets At Murthal Dhaba

Mumbai: A 38-year-old businessman, Sunder Malik, was shot dead by unidentified assailants at the Gulshan Dhaba in Murthal, Haryana. Malik, a liquor trader, was attacked while sleeping in his SUV.

Despite his attempts to resist, the attackers continued their assault and fired 35 bullets. The police have launched an investigation, with eight teams formed to apprehend the culprits

As the attackers fired at him, the victim—dressed in an orange hoodie and pants—attempted to defend himself, according to CCTV evidence. He tried to fight back, but he was overwhelmed, and the attackers kept shooting until he was unable to defend himself.  

The dhaba owner quickly alerted the authorities after seeing the attack. Approximately 35 bullets were fired during the assault, according to police reports. Eight teams have been put together thus far to find the offenders.  

Gaurav Rajpurohit, a police officer, stated, “Upon receiving a phone call, the police arrived at the scene and discovered evidence of extensive firing, estimated to be around 30 to 35 rounds.”

The investigating officer promised that after speaking with the victim’s family, more actions will be done. Authorities have not yet confirmed whether there were any gang-related motivations for the attack.
