328 New Coronavirus Cases In Maharashtra, Tally 3,648

Mumbai: The number of coronovirus patients in Maharashtra reached 3,648 on Saturday, with 328 new patients detected.

A health department official said that out of 328 184 patients were found in Mumbai and 78 in Pune.

Six positive tests in Thane city, three in Bhiwandi, three in Thane district, five in Raigad, 11 in Mira Bhayandar, five in Kalyan Dombivali, seven in Palghar, eight in Pimpri Chinchwad, three in Nagpur, two in Navi Mumbai, four were done. One each in Satara, Akola, Amravati, Nandurbar, Panvel, Aurangabad, Vasai Virar and Pune districts, he said.

The Union Health and Family Welfare Ministry said on Saturday that the total number of coronovirus cases in India has increased to 14,792 with 957 new cases of COVID-19 and 36 deaths in the last 24 hours.

A total of 2,014 cases include cured and discharged patients, one migrating and 488 deaths. Currently, there are 12,289 active COVID-19 cases in the country.
