3,634 Cases Registered In Mumbai For Lockdown Violations
Mumbai: In Mumbai, 464 new cases have been registered for lockdown violations, the total number of cases filed since March 20, 3,634.
According to ANI news agency an official has informed that 464 cases were registered by the Indian Penal Code (IPC) under Section 188 (Disobedience of the order of a public servant) on Wednesday.

Police said that since the lockdown was implemented, a total of 3,634 cases have been registered in Mumbai, under which 2,850 people have been arrested and released on bail.
Police said 193 people are wanted and 591 have been released after issuing notices.

So far, at least 143 cases of coronovirus have been reported in Mumbai, against 1,297 in the state. The country is currently under lockdown to prevent the spread of coronovirus, which has so far claimed 169 lives.
