Article 370 Abrogation Is A ‘Wrong Decision’ By Modi Government, Ghulam Nabi Azad

Mumbai: Speaking against abrogation of Article 370 Senior Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Ghulam Nabi Azad, said that the Modi government had taken a ‘wrong’ decision.

He further said that the decision is wrong as nobody in the Valley is happy and as such, the decision should be reversed.

Talking with ANI News Agency, he urged for the release of various political leaders, who were placed under house arrest to restore normalcy (UT) in the former state which is now a union territory (UT) after being split into two separate units of J&K and Ladakh.

Earlier, Azad has said that as long as he is out and ‘not behind bars’, he will continue speaking on behalf of Kashmiris. He has also called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and the BJP to apologize to everyone in the valley as they have abolished Jammu and Kashmir.

Modi government recently scrapped Article 370 which provided special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
