Dharavi Reports 11 New COVID19 Cases
Mumbai: A senior official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that eleven new coronavirus cases were reported in the Dharavi area of Mumbai on Friday, taking its caseload to 3,385.
He said 2,946 out of 3,385 patients have already been cured, while there are 133 active COVID-19 cases in the area.
However, the civic body has stopped sharing Dharavi’s death toll.
Spread over 2.5 square kilometers, Dharavi is considered the largest slum in Asia with a population of over 6.5 lakhs.
