Salman Khan Film And CBFC Recieve Gujarat Highcourt Notice Regarding The Up-coming “Loveyatri”

Pune : Another treat from Salman Khan’s production house is rigorously eyed in recent times. Movie had already been renamed as Loveyatri from Loveratri after several protests from Hindu communities. It was said to be offensive towards Hindu sentiments.

This wasn’t wrapped up properly when another PIL filed against Central board of Film Certification and SKF by the Hindu community. As of now, they’re been asked to respond accordingly and report for the next hearing on 27th September.

Salman Khan Film legal section stated refering to the Padmavat’s controversy that the responsible party should be requested to present before the CBFC, however this time, CBFC hasn’t still Completed the Certification of the movie and therefore there shouldn’t be any such PIL. Mumbai mirror interviewed the National President of Sanatan Foundation, Umedsinh Sinha regarding the scenario, he shared “The court has not entertained the submission made by the counsel of SKF and issued notices. Next hearing is posted for September 27”. Going by the PIL, “The name of the movie distorts the meaning of Hindu festival Navratri and amounts to outraging Hindus by insulting their religious belief. Even the film’s trailer released on electronic and social media seems to make deliberate attempt to malign and mock sentiments of Hindus.”

Plea said that The dialogues are also objectionable, like ‘Usne ratri before Navratri ke nam par sara college sar par utha rakha hai (he has hyped the festival Navratri in the college). It also stated to cave in the Hindu Navratri festival for revenue purposes. Stating further “The movie has the backdrop of Gujarat and in the name of artistic freedom the producers are generating controversial content to get negative publicity.”

Satyendra Mishra, President of International Hindu Sena’s Gujarat unit, talked, “We have objections with the name and promos of the film where father of a young boy tells him to use nine nights of Navratri to woo a girl. They are sending out a distorted message about Navratri.”

Movie is a Abhiraj Minawal directorial and stars Aayush Sharma and Warina Hussain and will entering theaters on 5th October.
