Akhilesh Yadav Slams PM Modi For ‘Sarab’ Remarks

Mumbai: Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav attacks PM Narendra Modi for dubbing SP-RLD-BSP alliance in Uttar Pradesh as Sarab referring to the first initials of the three parties.

“If you want to stay healthy than remove ‘SaRaBa’ from elections in Uttar Pradesh,” PM Modi said in public rally in Meerut.

Slamming the PM’s comment Akhilesh Yadav tweeted saying that Modi has mixed up ‘sarab’ (a mirage) and ‘sharab’ (a liquor).

“Today, the tele-Proctor opened a pool that the difference between sarab and sharab is not known to those who promote hate intoxication, and this is a hazy dream that the BJP has been showing for 5 years but which is never achieved. Now, when the new election comes, he is showing a new SAB,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, BSP president Mayawati also slammed PM Modi for his comment on SP-RLD-BSP alliance she tweeted saying “Personal, casteist & communal hatred & animosity have been the hallmark of the BJP for which their government has grossly misused the official machinery. And keeping people & national interest above everything, the BSP-SP-RLD have joined hands to ensure BJP defeat in the hustings.”

There will be seven phases in Uttar Pradesh from April 11 to May 19 and the votes will be counted on May 23.
