Akshay Kumar Calls Stars ‘Idiots’ Who Locks Themselves 2-3 Months To Get Into A Character

Mumbai: After back to back hits Akshay Kumar is all set for his upcoming film Mission Mangal says, “Other actors, they take two or three months to get into character I can’t do that.”

Akshay, known for his action-thriller film, has rarely given a flop, and most of his films have earned over 100 crores. This kind of continuity is rarely seen in the industry when you churn 3-4 films every year.

Akshay Kumar, who completes shoots within a month of the span. Recently he told Financial Times that he doesn’t understand why actors take so much time to get into a character. He just takes 2-3 days for any role. That’s why we can say that he is one of the finest actors from Bollywood.

He says, “Other actors, they take two or three months to get into character. They lock themselves away and really torture themselves . . . Idiots!”. He further added, “I can’t do that. I take two or three days and that’s it. I want to get the movie done!” he is so much dedicated and confident by himself. Good to see him receiving such a positive response from the audience.

Akshay is currently busy with the promotions of Mission Mangal directed by Jagan Shakti the film is scheduled to be theatrically released in India on 15 August 2019.

The film stars an ensemble cast of Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Nithya Menen, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi, H. G. Dattatreya and Sonakshi Sinha and is loosely based on the story of scientists at Indian Space Research Organisation who contributed to the Mars Orbiter Mission, which marked India’s first interplanetary expedition
