Mumbai: On the occasion of International Nurses Day, ‘Vicky Donor’ actor Ayushmann Khurrana praised the exemplary contribution of nurses who are fighting COVID-19.

Speaking about the contribution of nurses, the 35-year-old actor said that this year people should pay tribute to nurses working in the frontline.

“We are marking today as International Nurses Day every year for their contribution to humanity and society,” Khurana said.

“This year all of us should salute them for being our front-line warriors, who are real heroes fighting coronaviruses every day and saving lives despite being at risk,” he said.

“The theme of this year’s Nurses Day is Nurse: To lead a voice – World Nursing for Health and it couldn’t be more appropriate than this,” said Khurrana.
