Biggest Opening For Salman Khan Ever As ‘Bharat’ Collects Rs 42.3 Crore In First Day, Actor Thanks His Fans
Mumbai: Film Bharat has been pouring with good reviews from all over the country, the film also turned out to be the biggest opener for Salman Khan’s career.
Despite India VS South Africa world cup match Salman’s fans didn’t fail to watch the film on the first day of the release. Film Bharat hit the theatres on this Eid and it is making its way to big collections.
Bharat has made Rs 42.3 crore on its opening day, and the actor is thankful to all his fans for giving him his career’s biggest opener.

A few hours after Bharat’s collection of the first-day collection figures, Salman thanked his fans for loving affection on Twitter.
He said, “Big thank you sabko for giving sabse bada opening mere career ka par what made me the happiest & proudest is ki during a scene in my film jab national anthem is recited everyone stood up as a mark of respect. There could be no bigger respect for our country than this… Jai Hind (sic).”

Released in 4700 screens across India, Bharat has got a bumper opening at the box office.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar the film also stars Katrina Kaif, Sunil Grover and Disha Patani. Earlier Salman’s 2015 film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo had this title at Rs 40.35 crore. But now Bharat has surpassed the first-day collection of Prem Ratan Dhan Payo by earning Rs 43.2 crore.
