Bihar Reports 9 Fresh COVID-19 Cases, State Total Reaches 223

23 New COVID-19 Cases In Karnataka, Tally Touches 1,079

Mumbai: Two new coronavirus cases were reported in Bihar on Saturday, taking the total number of infected people to 225 in the state, according to Bihar’s Principal Health Secretary Sanjay Kumar.

The two people who have tested positive for the fatal infection are residents of Naya Bhojpur and Buxar respectively.

Speaking to ANI, Kumar said, “Two more COVID-19 cases have been reported from Naya Bhojpur and Buxar in Bihar. The total number of coronovirus cases in the state is now 225”.

According to the state health department, out of the total COVID-19 cases in Bihar, 45 people have recovered/escaped and two have died.

Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India has crossed 24,500.
