CNG Price Hiked By ₹2.5 Per Kg In Delhi, PNG By ₹4.25 per SCM

Mumbai: Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) on Thursday hiked the Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) price in Delhi by ₹2.5 per kg to ₹71.61 per kg. IGL has also increased the price of Piped Natural Gas (PNG) by ₹4.25 per standard cubic metre (SCM) to ₹45.86 per SCM.

The CNG price for Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida will now be Rs 74.17 per kg, an increase of Rs 2.5 over the previous week. The price has increased to Rs 79.94 per kg in Gurugram.

Till Friday, the CNG price in Muzaffarnagar, Meerut and Shamli is Rs 78.84 per kg, while in Rewari it is Rs 82.07 per kg.

CNG is priced at Rs 80.27 per kg in Karnal and Kaithal, Rs 83.40 per kg in Kanpur, Hamirpur and Fatehpur and Rs 81.88 per kg in Ajmer, Pali and Rajsamand.

A few weeks after the results of the assembly elections of five states of the country were announced on March 10, there has been a steady increase in it.

The Rajya Sabha was adjourned on 5 April after Parliament protested the steep hike in fuel prices.

Meanwhile, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had recently linked the ongoing war in Ukraine and the disruption in the fuel supply chain. Crude oil prices are fluctuating on fears of a supply crunch due to sanctions against Russia.
