Congress Will Rmerge Number One Party In Maharashtra: Nana Patole

Mumbai: Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole said his party will emerge as the number one party in the state, maintaining that everything is fine in the alliance.

Amid reports of a growing rift between Maharashtra’s ruling alliance “Maha Vikas Aghadi”, Patole said, “People will see, Congress will become the state’s number one party in Maharashtra. Many are miffed with the party’s growing influence over the state.”

He attacked not only the opposition BJP but also allies in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government. He had alleged that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government was monitoring his activities.

Patole also claimed that MVA’s ally Shiv Sena and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) feel that their land is slipping from under their feet due to the growing influence of Congress in Maharashtra.

He further said that the people of the country are supporting the Congress in their fight against the BJP-led central government against inflation and hike in fuel prices. He also predicted that the BJP would not come to power in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

“We have been raising various issues of common people since last few days. People are supporting us in our fight against Center over inflation and rising fuel prices. BJP will face the consequence of this in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections too. People will uproot BJP,” Patole added.
