COVID19: Night Curfew Extended in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat & Rajkot Till April 15

Mumbai: The Gujarat government has extended the night curfew in four metro cities Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot till April 15, Thursday.

The order was issued by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Gujarat Home Department, Gujarat on Tuesday due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.

The time for night curfew in Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot will remain the same from 9 am to 6 am.

Considering the proliferation of coronaviruses, the state government has decided to keep the central government’s COVID-19 infection control guidelines unchanged till April 30, according to the additional chief secretary.

According to data from the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, there are 12,041 active cases of coronavirus in Gujarat. The total fine, discharged and migrated cases are 2,86,577, the death toll being 4500.
