Delhi CM Announces ₹10 Lakh Aid For Shahdara Gang-Rape Survivor

Mumbai: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday announced a financial aid of ₹10 lakh for the 20-year-old woman who was gang-raped and paraded with a blackened face in Shahdara.

He added that the national capital’s government will appoint a “good lawyer” for the survivor’s case.

Last week, a 20-year-old woman was allegedly abducted, gang-raped and paraded on the streets of East Delhi’s Kasturba Nagar by her assailants, with her hair cut, face blackened and shoes around her neck. The garland was worn. Was.

The Delhi Police has so far arrested eight women and one man, as well as three juveniles.

The police had said that the attack on the woman was carried out on January 26 due to personal enmity.
