Dharavi Records One New COVID-19 Case; Tally At 3,842

Mumbai: The senior official said that with only one recent case of coronavirus, the number of infections in Mumbai’s Dharavi region stood at 3,842 on Friday.

In the slum area, five new cases were reported a day earlier.

The official of the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation said that a total of 3,514 patients have been recovered so far from the infection.

He said that Dharavi currently has 16 active COVID-19 cases.

Spread over 2.5 sq km, Dharavi is considered the largest slum in Asia with a population of over 6.5 lakhs.
