Dilip Ghosh Claims Around 50 TMC MLAs To Join BJP Next Month

Mumbai: West Bengal Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Dilip Ghosh on Wednesday challenged West Bengal minister Jyotipriya Mallick to challenge at least one BJP booth president to join the Trinamool Congress (TMC).

Denying Mallick’s earlier claim about TMC MLAs quitting, Ghosh said that at least 50 TMC MLAs will join BJP next month to rejoin the party.

“I ask Mallick Babu to convince a booth president to join his party, and I will accept his claim. At least 50 TMC MLAs will join BJP next month,” he said.

Mallick claimed on Tuesday that the TMC MLAs wanted to rejoin the party before the assembly elections.

Mallik said, “Six-seven MPs will immediately join TMC in the first week of May before the election. Even the MLAs who left us have rejoined. Bankura MLA Tushar Babu said yesterday Called again.”

Several TMC leaders including former minister Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP last year ahead of the 2021 Assembly polls
