Earthquake Tremors Felt In Delhi, Nearby Areas Noida, Ghaziabad

Mumbai: The tremors were felt in the national capital on Friday. In July, an earthquake struck Delhi for the first time this year.

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 struck an earthquake 63 km southwest of Gurugram in Haryana.

The earthquake struck at a depth of 5 km from the surface at 7:00:48 IST.

The tremors lasted for a few seconds. Tremors were also felt all over Delhi and adjoining areas Noida and Ghaziabad.

On 15 May, an earthquake struck New Delhi with a magnitude 2.2 earthquake on a 13-km Richter scale and preceded a moderate intensity earthquake of 3.4 magnitudes near the Wazirpur area of ​​North Delhi on 10 May.

The same area was also the epicentres of the earthquakes of magnitudes 3.5 and 2.7 respectively which hit on April 12 and April 13.
