First Air India Special Flight From US Brings In 225 Indians Back Home

Mumbai: The first Air India Special Flight brings home stranded citizens from the US on Monday according to the Government of India’s Vande Matram mission.

The flight had departed from the US’s San Francisco and landed in Mumbai. About 225 stranded citizens are brought back home amidst the lockdown.

The passengers are screened and quarantined as per the guidelines issued by the government.

The Vande Bharat Mission is one big repatriation exercise in bringing the stranded citizens from the US, UK, and the UAE.
