Goa: An official of the state health department said that the coronavirus caseload in Goa increased to 1,32,585, as 2,455 patients tested the infection on Friday.

The official said that with the casualties of 61 people during the day, the number of dead has increased to 1,998.
He said at least 2,960 patients were discharged from various treatment facilities during the day, with recovery counts of up to 98,200, adding that the coastal state is now left with 32,387 active cases.

The official said that with the examination of 6,769 samples on Friday, the total number of tests conducted in the state has risen to 7,47,700.
