I Dare You To Fight Elections From Hyderabad Against Me: Owaisi

Mumbai: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi dared Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to contest elections from Hyderabad against him. He further said that Babri Masjid was demolished when Congress was in power. He added, “[Don’t contest elections from Wayanad].

The AIMIM MP was giving a speech to a crowd of people in Hyderabad, his parliamentary district.
According to Mr. Owaisi, the Babri Masjid in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, was destroyed while the grand old party was in power.

“I’m challenging your leader, Rahul Gandhi, to contest elections from Hyderabad rather than Wayanad. You continue making grand declarations, drop to the ground, and engage in combat with me. There will be a lot of things said by members of Congress, but I am prepared. Under the rule of the Congress, the Babri Masjid and the mosque at the Secretariat were destroyed, he claimed.

The Congress and AIMIM are fighting it out in Telangana for control of the state’s government in the next Assembly elections, which are expected to take place later this year.

Rahul Gandhi said that the Bharatiya Janata Party, Bharat Rashtra Samithi, and AIMIM are collaborating in Telangana and that his party is battling against this troika earlier this month when addressing the Vijayabheri Sabha in the Telangana town of Tukkuguda.

“In Telangana, the Congress party is collaborating with BRS, BJP, and AIMIM rather than fighting against BRS. They may identify as distinct parties, but they are unified in their efforts, according to Rahul Gandhi.

The Wayanad MP had also claimed that there are no CBI-ED cases against Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao or AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi since Prime Minister Narendra Modi considers them his “own people”.
