“I Worked Sincerely In Last 14 Months,” Says Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy

Mumbai: After the loss of the trust vote in the Karnataka Assembly, now caretaker chief minister HD Kumaraswamy said that he was ‘happy ‘ since he got the opportunity to serve the people of Karnataka for over a year.

NDTV quoted Kumaraswamy saying, “I am the happiest person on this occasion. That’s because of how much I worked in the last 14 months to uplift this state. I worked sincerely despite several kinds of disturbances, and today, I am the happiest person while vacating my office.”

HD Kumaraswamy, the head of the JD(S) – Congress coalition, resigned as the Chief Minister of Karnataka an hour after losing the trust vote in the assembly on the confidence motion.

After accepting the resignation, the Governor asked the ex-chief minister tp continue as a caretaker Chief Minister until an alternative arrangement is made.
