Mumbai: The rumours of Ritesh Deshmukh contesting elections were set ablaze on the internet with almost everyone talking about the same thing. Though the actor seems to have different plans. According to the sources, the actor has declined any such claims finally putting a full stop on the rumours.

He said, “For now my whole focus is on films and production and if I ever enter into politics there’ll be a grand announcement to let you know,”

He also added that he had no interest in politics now and the recent elections have nothing to do with him.
Son of late Shri Vilasrao Deshmukh is also an MLA of Latur city, it would be another accomplishment for the Lai Bhaari actor if he stepped into the politics continuing his father’s legacy just like his brother
