Improved Public Service, Reduced Corruption, PM Narendra Modi On Digital India’s Fourth Anniversary

Mumbai: On the occasion of the fouth anniversary of BJP government’s flagship ‘Digital India’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that this initiative has empowered people, significantly reduced corruption and improved public service delivery to benefit the poor.

Digital India is a campaign launched by the Indian government, in order to ensure that the services of the government are available by making the citizens electronically by improving online infrastructure and by increasing internet connectivity or by digitizing the country digitally in the field of technology.

This initiative includes a plan to connect rural areas with high-speed internet network. Digital India has three main components: the development of safe and stable digital infrastructure, digitally delivering government services, and universal digital literacy.
