INC-NCP Announced Its Seats Sharing In Maha For LS Polls

Mumbai: On Saturday, The Indian National Congress (INC) and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) announced its seat sharing in Maharashtra for the due Lok Sabha election.

Chief of Maharashtra Congress, Ashok Chavan and NCP leader Ajit Pawar said on a Press conference said that 56 parties and many number of organizations have come together to take down the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance.

From the 48 seats in Maharashtra, The Congress will contest on 24 seats while NCP will compete on 20 seats. For 1 seat Bahujan Vikas Aghadi will be fielded and 2 seats will be contested by Swabhimani Shetkari Sanghatana. The remaining 1 will be lead by Swabhimani Paksha.

Whereas, BJP will compete for 25 seats and its allied Shiv Sena on 23 seats.

Out of 7 phases, Maharashtra will conduct 4 phases. Results will be declared on May 23.
