J-K Reports 250 New COVID Cases, Three Deaths

Mumbai: Officials said 250 fresh COVID-19 cases were registered in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, while three fatal accidents occurred in the last 24 hours, killing 1,19,053 people and killing 1,853 people.

Of the latest cases, 115 were from Kashmir, and 135 were from the Jammu division of the union territory.

Officials said that the highest number of 98 cases were registered in Jammu, followed by 49 in the Srinagar district.

The number of active cases in the Union region declined to 3,555 as 338 patients were recovered from the infection. He said that a total of 1,13,645 patients have been cured so far.

Meanwhile, the Union region reported three COVID-19 deaths in the last 24 hours – one from Jammu and two from the Kashmir region.

The death toll due to the pandemic has now reached 1,853.
