Mumbai: Many Bollywood celebrities turned out to cast their vote today in Mumbai, whereas Bollywood’s Manikarnika Kangana Ranaut also cast her vote and while taking a dig at the Indian National Congress, she said that India is truly free from the rule of ‘Italian government’.

During the phase 4 of the Lok Sabha elections of 2019, Kangana, who was casting her vote in Mumbai, was asked about the importance of voting she replied, “This is a very important day, this day comes once in five years, so please use it. I think India is getting its independence in the true meaning of this word because, first we were servants, Mughal, British and Italian governments, so please use your rights and votes.”

Kangana’s conspiracy on Congress was not very low. The actress used the term ‘Italian’ to speak Congress, the party which is currently under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi. Sonia Gandhi, who is from Italy, took over the reins of the Indian National Congress after the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi and led the party for almost two decades.
