Keep UP Riot-Free, Keep Our Sisters Free From Fear: PM Modi Appeals Voters To Bring Back Yogi Govt

Mumbai: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed a public meeting in Uttar Pradesh’s Saharanpur and asked voters to bring the BJP government back to power in the state.

The rally was organized on a day when polling is underway for 58 seats in 11 districts for the first phase of state assembly elections. After the voting is over, the fate of 623 candidates will be stamped in the EVMs by 6 pm.

Addressing the voters, PM Modi said that in the first phase, people came out to vote in large numbers and this is commendable. He said that the manifesto of the BJP for the 2022 UP elections is a resolution for the welfare of the people.

“Some constituencies in western UP are voting for the first phase. I’m glad that on such winter mornings, people are going to vote in huge numbers. I appreciate all these voters. BJP UP’s ‘ghoshna patra’ is a resolution for welfare,” the PM said in Saharanpur.

Modi further appealed to the people to keep Uttar Pradesh riot-free, “keep our sisters free from fear and send criminals to jail”.
