Kerala COVID19 Tally Reaches To 1,326 As 57 New Cases Reprted Today

Mumbai: Kerala reported 57 new positive cases on Monday, of which 55 came from abroad and other states, the state had 1,326 infections, while over 1.39 lakh people are under surveillance. Eighteen people have recovered from the infection.

While Kasaragod and Malappuram reported 14 cases, Thrissur nine, Kollam five, Pathanamthitta four, Thiruvananthapuram and Ernakulam three each, Alappuzha and Palakkad two and Idukki one, Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan told reporters giving details of the break-up of the cases in various districts.

Twenty-seven of those infected came from abroad and 28 other states, he said, adding that those infected included Air India Express employees and health workers.

A total of COVID-19 cases have touched 1,326 in the state, with 708 under treatment and a total of 608 cured. Ten people in the state have succumbed to the virus.
