Maha COVID-19 Tally Jumps To 1,078; 60 New Cases

Mumbai: A health department official said that sixty new coronovirus cases occurred in Maharashtra on Wednesday.

He said that of the new cases, 44 have been found in Mumbai, nine in Pune, four in Nagpur and one each in Ahmednagar, Akola and Buldhana.

We have received reports today of 60 people being tested for coronovirus. The official said that the rally in Maharashtra is now 1,078.

The state has so far reported 64 deaths due to the viral disease.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Wednesday that with an increase of 773 cases in the last 24 hours, India’s COVID-19 cases have crossed the 5,000 marks with 5,194 cases.

Out of 5194 cases, 4,643 cases are reported to be active, while 401 people have discharged and migrated.
