Maharashtra Day: Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde Hoisted The Flag At The Collector’s Office

Vaccination For 18+ Starts From Today

Mumbai:  On the occasion of Maharashtra Day, the flag was hoisted by the Guardian Minister of Thane District and Minister for Urban Development and Public Works Eknath Shinde in the premises of the Thane District Collector’s Office. After that, a review meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shinde regarding the Corona situation in the Thane district.

Thane Municipal Corporation has started a centre for corona vaccination of youth in the age group of 18 to 44 years. Also, a vaccination campaign will be carried out as per the availability of the vaccine, informed Shinde. He wished the citizens of Thane district and the citizens of the state on the occasion of Maharashtra Day. This 61st anniversary was celebrated simply by following the rules of the government against the backdrop of the Corona outbreak.

Citizens need to follow the instructions given by the government regarding Covid. Corona’s condition is under control due to the lockdown. However, Shinde appealed to all to be careful till the situation is brought under control.

On this occasion, Mayor Naresh Mhaske, Thane District Collector Rajesh Narvekar, Thane Police Commissioner Vivek Phansalkar, Thane Municipal Commissioner Vipin Sharma, Navi Mumbai Commissioner Abhijeet Bangar and District Surgeon were present.
