Meghalaya: Meghalaya recorded 478 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, taking the tally to 43,732, a senior health department official said.
Four more COVID-19 fatalities also took the death toll to 762.
Director of Health Services Aman War said that 329 patients have recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of recoveries to 38,361.

He said that the number of active cases in the state now stands at 4,609.
Of the fresh deaths, two have been reported from East Jaintia Hills district and one each from East Garo Hills district and East Jaintia Hills district.
The state has conducted over 6.38 lakh tests so far, the official said.
Till Wednesday, 5.44 lakh people have been inoculated with over 75,000 of them receiving both doses of the vaccine, War said.
