Mumbai: 16 new COVID19 positive cases reported in Mizoram following which state tally rose to 2,245.
Of the 16 new cases, 11 cases have been reported in Aizawl district, two in Lawngtlai, and one each in Kolasib, Saitual, and Champhai districts.
The official said all the patients were out of danger and most of them were immune.
At present, 112 patients with COVID19 are active in the state, while 2,13 people have recovered from the infection.
To date, Mizoram has not reported any casualties due to COVID19.
Altogether, 95,287 samples have been tested for COVID-19 including 1,703 samples on Friday.
