Mumbai Man Puts Woman’s Phone Number On Porn Site After She Rejects Him
Mumbai: A 26-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly uploading a woman’s phone number on a porn site and sending her sex toys after she rejected his advances, police said on Thursday.
Malad police last week arrested the man who was harassing the woman after she rejected her proposal earlier this year, an official said.
According to police, the woman, who is a college student, had approached the police in February with a complaint that she was getting calls from people asking for sex and that some unknown person was couriering her sex toys.
The officer said that during the investigation, the police revealed the woman’s phone number to be uploaded to a porn site and tracked down the IP address used to order sex toys online and zeroed in on the accused.
He said that the accused has been arrested under relevant sections of the Information Technology (IT) Act and further investigation is on.
