Narendra Modi And Amit Shah Will Address Rally From May 8 In Haryana

Mumbai: PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah will be addressing eight election rallies in Haryana ahead of Lok Sabha elections which will take place on May 12.

As per schedule, PM Narendra Modi will address the rallies on May 8 and May 10.

Modi will address the rally in Fatehabad and Kurukshetra on 8th May, while on the last day of campaigning for the sixth phase on May 10, he will address an election rally in Rohtak district.

BJP had fielded bureaucrat-turned-politician Sunita Duggal to take on Congress president Ashok Tanwar from Sirsa parliamentary constituency.

From Kurukshetra, Congress fielded former minister Nirmal Singh against BJP’s Nayeb Saini, who is a minister in Manohar Lal Khattar Cabinet.

Former CM Hooda is contesting from the Sonipat Lok Sabha seat.

On May 10, Shah will address rallies in Hissar and Dadri, which is part of Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha constituency.

Dushyant Chautala of Jananayak Janata Party (JJP) is contesting again from Hisar, while Congress has fielded the son of veteran leader Kuldeep Bishnoi.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP won seven of the eight seats contested. The remaining two were fought by the then Haryana Janhit Congress (HJC), which lost both seats in Hissar and Sirsa.
