Petrol Price Increased For 7th Straight Day, Crosses ₹110/Litre-Mark In Delhi

Mumbai: Petrol prices continued to rise to record highs for the seventh straight day on Tuesday. In Delhi, petrol now costs ₹110.04/litre, while the price of diesel remained unchanged at ₹98.42/litre.

In the country’s financial capital Mumbai, the prices of petrol and diesel increased to Rs 115.85 per liter and Rs 106.62 per liter respectively.

The price of petrol and diesel has gone up to Rs 110.49 and Rs 101.56 per liter respectively in Kolkata, West Bengal and Rs 106.66 and Rs 102.59 per liter respectively in Chennai.

Meanwhile, the Central government is in talks with several oil-exporting countries on the issue of supply and demand of oils but there is no possibility of immediate relief in prices.
