PM Failed To Achieve Targets Of Economic Growth In 8 Yrs: Subramanian Swamy
Mumbai: Rajya Sabha MP and BJP leader Subramanian Swamy said in eight years in office, PM Narendra Modi has failed to achieve targets of economic growth.
In a tweet, the outspoken BJP leader said national security has also become extremely vulnerable, adding that PM Modi is “ignorant” about China.
“In 8 years in office, we see that Modi has failed to achieve targets of economic growth. On the contrary, the growth rate has declined annually since 2016. National security has weakened hugely. Modi inexplicably is clueless about China. There is scope to recover but does he know how?” he tweeted.

The BJP MP also sought to disagree with one of Prime Minister Modi’s supporters, who said there is no better alternative to the current Prime Minister.
“Complete disagreement with the statement. If anyone else in the PM chair our position would have been much worse than now, maybe crying like pakis or Lankans, the importance of PM Modi will be felt after from a new PM,” a user wrote.
Responding to him, the BJP leader said, “That is what the British Imperialists said: India will fall apart if the British left.”
