Positive COVID-19 Cases Rise To 74 In Maharashtra

Mumbai: The state’s health department said on Sunday that ten more people – six from Mumbai and four from Pune – test positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra.

With this, the total number of people who tested positive for coronavirus in Maharashtra increased to 74. These include two deaths from infection in the state.

According to Municipal Corporation Greater Mumbai, a 63-year-old man who tested positive for COVID-19 and underwent treatment in a private hospital in Mumbai, died on Saturday night.

The total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in India is now 6.

So far one death has occurred in Bihar, Delhi, Punjab, Karnataka and Rajasthan.

According to the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) at 10 am on Sunday, a total of 341 persons in the country have been confirmed between contacts with suspected cases and known positive cases.
