Prevented Children From Wearing Bad Slogans: Priyanka Gandhi Vadra

Mumbai: After getting the notice from the top child authority body, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra responded that she had prevented children from slapping slogans and asked them to put good slogans

“Children were playing together,” said Vadra, “When I went to meet them, they made some slogans.” As soon as children made a bad slogan, I stopped them and said that they should make good slogans instead.”

The National Child Rights Protection Commission (NCPCR) issued a notice to Vadra on Thursday for alleged use of children in the election campaign. The complaint is related to a video in which the children were seen using the derogatory language in front of Vadra.

NCPCR outlined a 2014 order of the Bombay High Court, which said that children should not be included in the election campaign.

The body has asked the Congress leader to give details of these children’s names and addresses within the three days, where the slogans had been installed and how the children reached there.
