Mumbai: Aam Aadmi Party MLA Anil Bajpayee joined BJP from Gandhinagar on Friday.
This step has come at a time when AAP leaders including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal have accused BJP of indulging in horse-trading.
Bajpai joined the BJP in the presence of National Vice President and Delhi BJP in-charge Shyam Jaju and Union Minister Vijay Goel in the Delhi unit office here.
He said, “I have worked for AAP for 15 years, I was hurt due to the lack of respect and odd nature of work in the party.” It has withdrawn from its original way, “he said.
Former Delhi BJP President and Union Minister Goyal on Thursday claimed that seven, not 14 AAP MLAs were in touch with his party and wanted to leave AAP due to “frustration and insult”.
