Pune Municipality Reports 98 Covid Cases, 270 Positive In District

Mumbai: The PMC yesterday reported 98 COVID cases, the lowest in the past 10 months. One person succumbed to the virus.

In Pune district, 270 people tested positive with a total of 3,76,547. 333 patients were recovered and were discharged clapping 33, 62, 07 recoveries. Currently, there are about 2,000 people under isolation in the hospital and 2,922 under house isolation.

A total of three deaths occurred in the Pune district, taking the toll to 9,015. In the latest cases, 98 are from civic bodies, 84 are from Pimpri-Chinchwad, and 16 are from the municipal council border, five are from the cantonment and 67 are from rural areas.

In Maharashtra, 1,842 people tested positive, ranging from 20 to 10,948. Kovid’s 30 people were killed. The death toll is 50,815. 3,080 patients were discharged. So far 19,15,344 people have been recovered. The recovery rate is 95.25% and the case rate is 2.53%.

Currently, 2, 07,971 people are in domestic quarantine and 2,360 people are in institutional quarantine. Civic body limits remain severe at 205 patients and approximately 300 are under oxygen therapy. 123 patients were cured and discharged.

There are 2,025 active cases in Pune city. In Pimpri-Chinchwad, 99,738 people have suffered from COVID so far, of which 96,243 have been recovered. One of the deaths here was from a person outside the municipal limits.

During the treatment at Pimpri-Chinchwad hospitals, 757 people from other parts died.
