Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Meets Sidhu Moosewala’s Family Amid Protests By Locals
Mumbai: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann today met the family of late singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala in Moosa village in Punjab’s Mansa district.
Mann visited the Moosewala family, four days after the singer-politician was shot dead.

Earlier today, the locals had protested against Mann’s visit to the residence of the singer-politician.
District Commissioner Mansa, Jaspreet Singh said that the family is supporting us and they are saying that they will meet the CM.
Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Punjab’s Mansa district on Sunday, a day after the state government cut the security cordon.
Today, Gurpreet Singh Banawali, AAP MLA from Sardulgarh constituency in Mansa district, faced protests from local people during his visit to Moose Wala’s residence.
Meanwhile, the Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government on Thursday told the Punjab and Haryana High Court that it would restore security cover to all 424 people who were temporarily withdrawn for the Amritsar Ghalughra event from June 7.
The AAP government is under fire from the Opposition parties for reducing the security cover of 424 people and then allegedly making the list of protectees public on social media.
