Rajasthan Migrant Workers From Other States To Return Their Home Soon: Ashok Gehlot

Mumbai: After a number of trials, Rajasthan will be successful in retrieving its migrant workers stranded in the other states due to the lockdown.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday took to Twitter to announce that Rajasthan based migrants will be returning soon to their abodes. “After much effort by State govt, migrants of #Rajasthan will soon be returning home from other states. These ppl suffered a lot during #lockdown. Now when they return, it is our moral duty to take care of them, provide them with all help regarding food, medicines & quarantine facilities”, says Rajasthan CM.

The State be facilitating concerned state government’s consent after registration and bring the migrant workers in a phased and proper arrangement. The workers will be quarantined upon their return according to the sources.

In a miserable time, Gehlot has also requested the state folks to extend health assistance and moral support to the workers returning home after a very hard period. “Following the culture of #Rajasthan that we never leave our people in distress, take proper care of the migrants”, he added.

Meanwhile, 102 new coronavirus cases were reported as of 8:00 AM on Apr 27 in Rajasthan, according to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

This brings the total reported cases of coronavirus in Rajasthan to 2,185. Among the total people infected as on date, 518 have recovered and 33 have passed away.
