Reliance Foundation To Support Families Of 40 CRPF Jawans Killed In Pulwama Attack

Mumbai: In view of the Pulwama terror attack, the Reliance Foundation has taken responsibility for education and employment of children of 40 CRPF soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama terror attack.

In a statement, the company said, “As a symbol of our gratitude towards the martyrs, the Reliance Foundation has expressed willingness to take full responsibility for the livelihood of the education and employment of their children and their families.”

“If necessary, our hospital is ready to provide the best possible treatment to all the injured jawans. we shall also deem it to our duty to shoulder any other responsibility the government may place upon us in service to our beloved Armed forces.”

Reliance Foundation was formerly known as Dhirubhai Ambani Foundation. It was founded in 2010 by Mukesh Ambani, chairperson of Reliance Industries.

The Foundation also works with other philanthropies and NGOs on collaborative initiatives, for example in 2012 partnering with the television show Satyamev Jayate to provide a grant to Muktangan Rehabilitation Centre in Mumbai to help street children.
