RPF Constable Saves 40-Yr-Old Woman From Slipping Under Moving Train In Mumbai

Mumbai: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable saved a 40-year-old woman who slipped and fell while trying to board a moving train in Mumbai.

In a video, the constable was purportedly seen rushing towards the woman after the latter lost her balance.

Taking to Twitter, Central Railway shared CCTV footage of the incident. It said the 40-year-old woman lost her balance as she was trying to board a moving train.

The on-duty lady constable can be seen keeping a close watch on the people on board the train. Reacting swiftly to the situation, Sapna Golkar swiftly stepped towards the train and saved the woman.

Other people present on the platform can also be seen running in the footage. The woman then sits on the bench where the constable was initially seated.

Central Railway commended Golkar for saving the commuter’s life.
