Shiv Sena-BJP Alliance Will Continue: Uddav Thackeray

Mumbai: Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray said on Wednesday that the alliance between his party and BJP will continue.

The ruling parties are currently deliberating to finalize the seat-sharing formula before the assembly elections, which are yet to be officially announced.

Thackeray launched several civic projects for Thane at a function held at the Ram Ganesh Gadkari auditorium in which party leaders, elected representatives and party-ruled Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) officials participated.

Thackeray said, “BJP and Shiv Sena are still in alliance and will continue to do so.”

The Shiv Sena chief said in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Mumbai last week that the alliance between his party and the BJP was “inevitable” and that it would once again return to power.

He inaugurated the VD Savarkar memorial pillar in the premises of the auditorium and later a hospital and a heart centre

Thackeray performed an earth-breaking program for the school being built by an NGO and also inaugurated the reconstructed crematorium in Johar Bog area.

He said the villages in the state should be linked to the district hospital through a communication link.
