The Bombay High Court today granted bail to Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri’s son Aryan Khan in the Mumbai drugs case. Aryan was lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road Jail for over three weeks after his bail was rejected twice earlier.

Aryan and other co-accused, Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha, have finally been granted bail today, after hearing the recent bail petitions in the Bombay HC on Wednesday and Thursday.

In an exclusive conversation with NDTV, Mukul Rohatgi said that Shah Rukh Khan had ‘tears of joy after getting bail. Rohatgi said that Tara was dead and was not even eating properly.

“He’s been very, very worried for the last three-four days that I was there and I don’t even know if he had a proper meal. He was drinking coffee after coffee. And he was very, very worried. And I was a One could see a great sense of relief, yes, on the father’s face the last time I met him,” said Mr Rohatgi.

Mukul Rohatgi further revealed that Shah Rukh Khan “had given up all his professional activities. And he was very much available at all times. He was in fact making notes to help his legal team,” said the lawyer.

The detailed court order, along with the bail conditions will be out on Friday. Aryan, Arbaaz, and Munmun will be released either today or on Saturday.
