Stand United Else 2023 Assembly Polls Will Be Last In MP: Digvijaya To Cong Workers

Mumbai: In a viral video, Congress leader Digvijaya Singh asked party workers to stand united for the 2023 Assembly polls in MP.

In the viral video, the Rajya Sabha MP can be seen warning party leaders that if they do not fight unitedly in the 2023 assembly election, it could be the last election of the oldest party in the state.

According to PTI, the video is reportedly shot in Ratlam on Saturday.

“You are not ready to sit together. I am here but you are standing separately….This will not do. I am telling you the election of 2023 (Assembly elections of Madhya Pradesh) will be the last one. If you will not contest elections honestly then be ready to sit at home. The Congress will not make a comeback and even finding workers (for the party) will be hard,” Sindh can be heard saying in the video.

Assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh are to be held towards the end of 2023.

In the previous state election in 2018, Congress managed to return to power in MP after a gap of 15 years.

However, the Congress government of Chief Minister Kamal Nath lasted for only 15 months due to the defection of 22 Congress MLAs to the BJP.
